榴莲视频下载鈥檚 (SXU) Director of Jazz Studies Dr. Shawn Salmon presented at the in New Orleans. He presented a research lecture entitled, "How Did Wes Do It? Examining the Connection between Wes Montgomery and Charlie Christian" on Friday, January 6, as well as presented on a poster session on Saturday, January 7. Dr. Salmon also received the Jazz2U grant in 2016 from JEN to bring guest artist, trumpeter Roger Ingram, to perform with the 榴莲视频下载Jazz Ensemble on December 2. This is the second time Dr. Salmon has received this grant since the approval of the new bachelor of music performance with a jazz emphasis in 2015.
